Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team in Karachi. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software products. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers and driving technical excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and architects, to design and develop high-quality software solutions.
Architect and implement scalable and reliable software systems using Java and related technologies.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies.
Drive innovation and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Identify and resolve technical challenges and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of robust and bug-free software.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
Strong expertise in Java and related frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Struts.
Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and distributed software systems.
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
